Traces of Actions
2005-Ongoing
Traces of Actions is a photographic exploration and documnetation of found stacks, arrangements, remnants, and compositions in public space. These configurations are rarely created with artistic intent, yet they possess visual qualities.
The series is based on the idea that every action leaves a trace. The depicted objects and materials can be read as imprints of human activity and past events. Through photography, they appear as unconscious sculptures, where functional or accidental arrangements acquire new meaning.
Traces of Actions explores how our actions shape the world and how their traces continue to exist long after the action itself has ended.
