Livsrum
Aalborg
2012
The counselling centre, Livsrum, is composed of rooms of varying sizes and scales, offering users a range of spaces to suit their individual needs. Designed to feel open, relaxed, and welcoming, the centre encourages visitors to seek counselling in a comfortable, home-like setting. The buildings are carefully scaled to harmonize with the surrounding residential neighborhood.
The ambition was to create a warm and supportive environment where patients feel at ease. The architecture allows visitors to focus on recovery and well-being in calm, pleasant surroundings, without constant reminders of the circumstances that brought them there.
